FCV Green Tobacco Trade Reached Nearly 90% of the Brazilian Crop
Santa Cruz do Sul / RS – The commercialization of the 2014/15 crop has advanced during the month of June. Data from the Tobacco Growers Association of Brazil (Afubra) indicate that the volume delivered by the producers of the three southern states already nearing 90%. This means that the production estimated at 601,6 thousand tons of tobacco Virginia type, just over 60 tons are still with the tobacco growers. The expectation is that the sale is closed between late July and early August.
